Life Cykel was founded in 2015 when two friends decided to collect coffee waste from Australian cafes and restaurants to grow gourmet mushrooms sell to the community, return the used coffee waste to the ground as fertiliser, creating a closed-loop system. Thus beginning their mission to inspire new attitudes towards food production, waste products and mushrooms.
